The Bridging & Development Lenders Association (BDLA), represents the interests of lenders within the short term mortgage lending sector. We work with our Lender and Associate member firms to ensure that short term mortgage lending is conducted to the highest possible standards, with the objective of delivering the best experience and outcomes for customers.

All members abide by the BDLA Code of Conduct and Membership Rules, which are reviewed regularly, and our Executive Committee is elected by members on a revolving term of office to ensure diverse representation. At the BDLA, our Lender members and Associate firms remain wholly independent, whilst committing to work together for the benefit of the short term mortgage market.

The BDLA’s core objective is to protect and promote the interests of the short-term mortgage lending sector and of our members.
